Persian Spices
June 22, 2009 at 10:25 pm | Posted in Barony of Smoking Rocks | Leave a commentOur Barony A&S class was held tonight. The theme was Persian cookery, and was held by Suhayma from a neighboring Barony. One of her friends from the Pepperer’s Guild also spoke about Persian desserts, but sadly I can’t remember her name.
Lots of recipes were shared, as well as some tasty dishes to try out. I particularly liked the stuffed apricots. I had been planning on doing an Indian feast the next time I volunteer to Feastocrat, but now I’m thinking it would be interesting to do Persian instead. I like the flavors involved and the recipes look tasty.

- Welcome! As Alys Attewater I am a member of the SCA. I'm an archer and artisan. Although I'm particularly interested in fiber arts and researching medieval poultry, I have a lot of research interests that are just waiting on the back burner.
